Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III Gets It Right

I have (hopefully) corrected for the problem that seemed to happen where this video was loaded three times! How strange. This statement from the pulpit by an African-American pastor addressing his black congregation brought tears to my eyes. I have long wondered why the leaders of black churches could not see that condemning the LGBT community and calling us an "abomination" repeatedly was an "anti-Christ" message. I have waited patiently for their hearts to turn, and to see that we are all part of the same body, and to preach a message of love and joy rather than hate and fear. Here is that message.

Hearing positive messages about the gay community and equality is so refreshing as opposed to the hate messages heard....I pray love will rule...In related news, Richard Noble is walking across America for equality for all carrying the rainblow flag....He should be arriving in Tallahassee in in a few days...Had received a proclamation from the Mayor who has proclaimed May 20th LGBT Equality Day....Check out Richard Noble on Facebook...I hope you can meet him.....Thanks again for the inspiring video message...I appreciate your blog.....Virginia, MCCBR

He has gotten it very wrong. The worst part is the premise that you must overlook what you deem as right to vote the colour of your skin.
If homosexuality is indeed sin, the worst thing for homosexuals is to go deeper and deeper into the deception.
This man is showing no love, he is only concerned about who prayed for a black man to be president and now we have one. The fact that black people are worse off is of no importance!
Shame on him!!

To say that also lends itself to racism. So should white people vote white? if white people did was he is telling black people to do, Obama would not be president.
A man of God should not be telling people the colour of a mans skin should be irrelevant to the believer.
