As we remember Hurricanes Katrina and Rita...let's hope the people of the Gulf Coast areas are better able to escape to safety from Gustav. And keep all of us who live in the southern U.S. in your thoughts and prayers from now until November 30th...the official end of hurricane season.I welcome comments on any posts that I put up here, but please make your remarks relevant to the topic of the post. It appears that God is listening. I hear that there is quite a storm surge but that it is down to a Cat. 2 and I hope that it doesn't hurt New Orleans as much as Katrina did. How is it there?

It's hot and humid today with some clouds, which are probably the very, very, very outskirts of Gustav just from the look of them. But no rain! And that's fine with me!
